Nicole A. Poltash
Nicole Poltash is an attorney in the Litigation Department with a strong and diverse litigation background and a focus on general commercial and complex civil litigation. She has represented individuals, Fortune 500 companies, and Am Law 100 firms across multiple industries including entertainment, automobile, hospitality, insurance, restaurant, and construction. By her second year of practice, she first-chaired the defense of a Florida corporation against a breach of contract claim, handling every aspect of the case and winning the trial on a motion to strike the evidence.
Prior to joining the Maloney Firm, Nicole practiced law at a boutique eDiscovery & information governance firm.
She is an active member of the South Bay Inn of Court, an organization of legal professionals.
Nicole graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law, magna cum laude. While in law school Nicole participated in many external competitions, including the University of Texas at Austin’s Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition, where she took home the titles of National Champion, Maritime Law Association of the U.S. Award for Best Brief, and Best Oral Advocate of the Championship Round. She also served on the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology, Honor Counsel, and Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Commerce and her Bachelor of Arts in German Language & Literature, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.
Nicole is licensed to practice law in California, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
