Alexandra C. Borghi
Alexandra (“Ally”) Borghi is an adept civil litigator whose prodigious legal acumen belies her four years in practice. With a background in both trial and appellate experience, Ally most recently demonstrated her courtroom prowess while serving as the second chair in a multimillion-dollar trial.
Ally’s practice areas include torts (such as personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and others), business law, contracts, construction, real estate, and insurance litigation including “bad faith” claims and coverage disputes. Ally cut her teeth working under highly respected trial attorneys at a Los Angeles area firm. Additionally, Ally honed skills in legal production, development, and entertainment law in her position at a major entertainment company.
Ally brings a valuable international perspective to her practice. Originally from Los Angeles, Ally has spent significant time in Italy (where her family currently resides). This multicultural background facilitates Ally’s connection with a diverse book of clients and navigate cross-border legal issues. Fluent in Italian and conversational in Spanish and French, Ally serves a wide range of clients in the civil litigation, entertainment, and business sectors.
After finishing her undergraduate studies in Political Science at the University of Michigan, Ally went on to receive the prestigious CALI Award of Excellence at the University of San Diego School of Law. This honor, which is given to the individual with the highest grade in their law school class, reflects Ally’s commitment to legal excellence and her understanding of complex legal principles. While at the University of San Diego School of Law, Ally was elected president of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, which had the largest club enrollment at the law school.
Beyond her professional career, Ally is passionate about her hobbies which include Pilates, surfing, snowboarding, and long-distance running. She competes in various races including 5ks, 10ks, and half marathons. Additionally, she dedicates time to volunteer at the Wags & Walks dog rescue and enjoys supporting her alma mater, the University of Michigan, in both football and basketball. These hobbies reflect the dedication, drive, and commitment that serve as the bedrock for Ally’s professional life.
Upon joining the Maloney Firm APC, Ally is focused on driving the expansion of the business and sports and entertainment divisions. Ally is passionate about providing exceptional legal services that cater to the evolving needs of her clients.
