Betzy Y. Bras-Gonzalez
Betzy is an associate attorney in the Maloney Firm’s Litigation Department.
Prior to joining the Maloney Firm, she worked at a boutique law firm as a litigation associate working on, inter alia, employment and landlord-tenant disputes. Betzy has experience in all facets of litigation, including but not limited to: discovery, motion practice, and trial.
Betzy graduated from UC Hastings, College of the Law where she was a Founders’ Scholar and served as Editor of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal, Co-Political Chair of UC Hastings La Raza Student Association, and Co-Advocacy Chair of Hastings Students for Immigrants’ Rights. Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, with a double Minor in Law and Society and Spanish at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. While at Cal Poly, Betzy served as a Congressional Intern for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) in Washington, D.C.
Betzy was raised in the small rural town of Guadalupe, California. In her free time, she enjoys playing frisbee golf, dancing, and spending time with her family and loved ones.
